zip co.
Online payment company Zip Co. was working out of fitted out space when we took our initial brief. The dynamic, fast-growing start up was excited to be taking on two floors at Spring Street with an interconnecting stair and saw this as an opportunity to reflect their culture and identity in a physical sense. Their strong, relaxed culture was evident and the design concept focused on large spaces to enable collaboration & social interaction. The entry presents as a self-serve check-in concierge with an oversized A/V wall that has huge impact on arrival. A large tiered seating space provides a space for ‘all hands’ presentations and an even larger kitchen/breakout space enables informal meetings, gaming and karaoke!
Zip was launching new branding to coincide with the new workplace and we drew upon the new, bright colour palette for inspiration. Environmental graphics were designed to add another layer of playfulness with a ‘scrap-booking’ aesthetic. Further, we worked with street artist Numskull who created the colourful stair void artwork.hing on a Friday morning in preparation for a lively Friday afternoon All Hands meeting!
